I got a new camera

I’ve been meaning to buy a little point and shoot for a while now. After researching a bit I went with the Ricoh GR IIIx. It takes super sharp photos and the colors are really great. I also like that it has a 40mm focal length which is much more cropped compared to the wide perspective (26mm) of my iPhone 13 Mini. You have to think a bit when framing images which can be a fun challenge.

I’m planning on sharing images that I take using it here. Basically this is version 2.0 of my high school photography class blog.

Here are some sample images from the first two weeks I had it. I was messing around with the settings a bit so you’ll notice some wild differences in color profiles. Stay tuned for more of a consistent vibe.
